Puerto Vallarta has officially joined an exclusive group of distinguished properties, as the Hotel Patio Azul has been inducted into the prestigious Association of Haciendas and Mansions of Jalisco. The hotel received its official plaque in a ceremony led by Jalisco’s Secretary of Tourism, Michelle Fridman Hirsch, and Sergio Montaño, the association’s president.
Fernando García de Llano Valenzuela, the hotel’s owner, celebrated the recognition as a significant achievement. He said that the hotel had to meet strict requirements for service quality and compliance to be accepted.
Located in the southern part of Puerto Vallarta, Patio Azul aims to showcase the area’s natural beauty, from the stunning bay and beaches to the rich jungle and its magnificent views. The hotel was designed with a deeply Mexican identity, with each of its 18 rooms named after and inspired by iconic Mexican figures and symbols, such as Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Cantinflas, El Santo, and the monarch butterfly.
