Puerto Vallarta is officially transitioning into the high season for international cruise tourism this October. The city is expecting a robust month with 20 scheduled ship arrivals, a forecast that promises a significant economic boost for the entire destination. The highlight of the month will be five double dockings, where two cruise ships will call at the port on the same day, ensuring especially vibrant days for local businesses.
The busy season begins on Friday, October 3, with the simultaneous arrival of the Island Princess and the Caribbean Princess. The pace continues steadily throughout the month, featuring multiple instances of twin arrivals, including the Royal Princess and the Nieuw Amsterdam on the 8th, and the Carnival Panorama and Navigator of the Seas arriving together on the 14th and 28th.
According to the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), Mexico continues to be one of the world’s most popular cruise destinations.
