Puerto Vallarta has concluded a successful promotional tour across Central Mexico’s Bajío region, aiming to solidify its status as a top national destination. The caravan targeted key cities, including Aguascalientes, León, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, and Morelia, drawing over 300 travel agents.
Working with major wholesalers, the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust presented the city’s diverse offerings. Highlights included cultural walks along the Malecón, adventure activities in the Sierra Madre, and the highly anticipated whale-watching season in Banderas Bay.
A crucial component of the tour was connectivity. Airline partner Volaris confirmed daily flights from the Bajío region and a new route from Morelia, making travel easier than ever.
The promotion also showcased Puerto Vallarta’s world-class events, such as Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica, and upcoming cultural celebrations like the Día de Muertos festivities, which will feature the city’s record-holding giant Catrina.
