Puerto Vallarta is celebrating a significant milestone after welcoming the one millionth cruise passenger of 2025. Mayor Luis Munguía recognized this achievement as a powerful signal of the city’s consolidation as a preferred destination for major international cruise lines.
Mayor Munguía hailed the achievement, he reaffirmed the city’s commitment to maintaining its position as one of the most important tourist destinations on the Mexican Pacific and globally.
The lucky “Millionth Passengers,” Michael and Jessica Suendsen, who arrived aboard the Norwegian Jade cruise ship, were symbolically honored during a ceremony at the National Port System (ASIPONA) facilities. Also recognized were Ana Cecilia and Abigail Vázquez García, who were enjoying a local tour on a Bay Shipping Group vessel.
