Significant progress is visible at the Las Juntas traffic interchange, where the installation of a new pedestrian bridge is moving forward as part of a major urban modernization project. The main structures crossing the federal highway have already been positioned, marking a key milestone in a project designed to prioritize safety and accessibility for thousands of citizens.
The installation of the bridge’s upper sections was successfully carried out during specialized nighttime operations last week. By coordinating the work late at night, authorities were able to minimize the impact on traffic flow between Puerto Vallarta and Nayarit, ensuring that travelers and commuters experienced a smooth transition through the construction zone.
In addition to the bridge, the State Secretariat of Infrastructure and Public Works is making steady progress on several complementary urban improvements. These include the renovation of sidewalks, the construction of dedicated access lanes to the Las Juntas delegation, and the enhancement of public gardens and return lanes.
