The new fleet consists of state-of-the-art, 18-meter articulated buses manufactured by Yutong. These “accordion-style” vehicles are built for high-capacity transit, capable of carrying up to 130 passengers per trip. Designed with the needs of both locals and tourists in mind, the buses feature a low-floor entry system, universal accessibility for wheelchairs, air conditioning, and real-time video surveillance. This rollout specifically targets key commuter hubs, connecting the Marina Vallarta district, major shopping centers, and the University of Guadalajara (CUCosta) campus.
The project not only aims to provide a smoother, quieter ride for residents and students but also sets a new standard for inclusive public transportation in Mexico.
