Puerto Vallarta will be part of Jalisco’s Vibra Jalisco World Cup celebration with a free public viewing fan zone and a July 4 concert by Mexican singer Ximena Sariñana, according to regional and state entertainment reports published June 8–9.
The local fan zone is planned on the grounds of Pensiones del Estado, across from the Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Unit, and is expected to operate during the 2026 FIFA World Cup window from June 11 to July 19. The concept includes giant outdoor screens for live matches, family activities, music, food experiences and other free programming for residents and visitors.
Jalisco officials are using the program to extend the World Cup atmosphere beyond the host city of Guadalajara into destinations such as Puerto Vallarta, Tequila, Chapala, Mazamitla, Lagos de Moreno and Tapalpa. El Occidental quoted Lorena Martínez Ramírez, director of Jalisco’s State Entertainment Agency, saying the goal is to create free spaces where people can gather, have fun and enjoy family-friendly activities.
For travelers, the most practical confirmed date is July 4, when Ximena Sariñana is scheduled for a free Puerto Vallarta concert. The venue and hour had not yet been announced at the time of drafting, so visitors should watch official state and municipal channels before making same-day plans.
