Registration is open for Tuki Verano 2026, Puerto Vallarta’s municipal summer course for children, with a new Ixtapa site and a mix of sports, culture, recreation, and public-service workshops across the city.
The program is organized by COMUDE Puerto Vallarta. According to the municipal release, it will run from July 20 to August 7, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, with capacity limited to 400 participants. The municipal announcement lists children ages 4 to 12, while the official Tuki Verano site describes 5 to 12, so families should confirm the final age requirement during registration.
Activities are planned for the Agustín Flores Contreras sports unit, Alfonso Díaz Santos in La Bobadilla, La Lija, Tamarindos in Ixtapa, Centro Cultural Cuale, and Centro Cultural El Pitillal. The fee is 1,450 pesos, includes a participant kit, and includes discounts for siblings and COMUDE sports-school students. La Bobadilla will also host an inclusive group for children with disabilities, supported by DIF.
For resident and long-stay families, the course adds a structured option during the summer vacation period. Visitors looking for year-round ideas can also review Puerto Vallarta’s family-friendly activities, explore the Cuale River Island, or spend time around El Pitillal. Families can request details at 322 170 5790 or through the official registration site.
