Friendly Vallarta All Inclusive Beach Resort & Spa is located at Bahía de Banderas, in the heart of the hotel zone. The hotel is 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) from downtown and only 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) from Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR).

The resort’s Grand Spa features women’s and men’s saunas, steam rooms, and 8-person spa tubs. The resort’s frontage on the hotel zone’s beach is 76 meters (250 feet). The resort supplies kayaks and boogie boards. Independent operators offer rentals and services for personal watercraft, parasailing, banana-boating, and horseback riding on the beach, and scuba-diving instruction and scuba-diving/snorkeling excursions can be arranged at an independent water-sports desk in the resort. Use of a tennis court is complimentary in daylight, with a surcharge for play under the lights.
