With 24 arrivals already logged in January, the city will reach a year-to-date milestone of 40 ships by the end of this month, bringing tens of thousands of international tourists to the local shops, restaurants, and tours.
The action starts right now—today, February 3, marks a “double arrival” with both the Carnival Panorama and the Norwegian Jade currently in port.
These frequent visits are more than just a spectacle at the terminal; they represent a major economic engine for the region. By the time the Norwegian Bliss and Royal Princess make their final February appearances on the 25th, the local economy will have seen a massive infusion of spending from passengers and crew alike.
