On Wednesday, July 10th, Mayor Lía Saraí Castro Díaz de León inaugurated the new section of the Cruz de Huanacaxtle-Punta de Mita road. This third phase of the road construction, made of hydraulic concrete, was carried out with an investment of more than 10 million pesos from municipal funds. Thanks to efficient management, savings were made that were then reinvested in the project for its marking and the resurfacing of an additional section with asphalt.
The completion of this phase represents significant progress in the improvement of road infrastructure in the area, benefiting both residents and tourists. The new road will provide greater safety and comfort for users, while also promoting economic development in the region.
The construction of the Cruz de Huanacaxtle-Punta de Mita road is part of a broader strategy to improve the municipality’s road infrastructure. The project is expected to be completed in its entirety in the coming months.
