Bucerias Hosts the 2024 Wind Festival

The 2024 Wind Festival, also known as Festival del Viento, is set to take place on the beaches of Bucerías from May 17th to 19th, 2024.

This exhilarating event has established itself as the epicenter of kiteboarding in Latin America. More than 300 elite athletes and passionate enthusiasts of this extreme sport will gather to compete in various categories, including Downwind, Long Distance, Big Air, Foil Regatta, Freestyle, and Slalom.

Participants will race from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to Bucerías, showcasing their skills and battling the winds of the Mexican Pacific. Beyond being a competition, the Wind Festival celebrates the energy, talent, and creativity that define the world of kiteboarding.
