Four Seasons to launch tented Punta Mita resort in late 2022

In order to promote community, individual development, and knowledge expansion, the soon-to-be-opened Four Seasons nature retreat in Punta Mita will house visitors in 15 opulent tents amidst 48 acres of forest, only 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport, on a private peninsula overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

According to Vince Parrotta, Four Seasons President of Hotel Operations, Americas West, “Naviva is an ambitious new resort concept that combines highly individualized service and unique design that puts guests closer to nature than ever before.”

Visitors will interact one-on-one with professional guides during deliberate activities that embrace the culture and character of Mexico with the introduction of this incredibly personalized retreat.

Luxury Frontiers created the tented suites, which feature features like private plunge pools. Biophilia serves as an inspiration for all of the design.

“Our location tucked in a cliffside forest creates the feeling of being disconnected in a faraway destination, when in reality, we’re only a short flight away from the US,” said Ronny Fernandez, resort manager at Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort.

Our wild environment naturally inspires visitors to go out on their own individual experiences.

immersion in the environment of nature
The tour guide will welcome visitors on a bridge that resembles a cocoon and looks out over a woodland ravine. Each tent’s indoor-outdoor area references the surroundings with amenities like an open-air living room, hammock, and outdoor shower, maintaining the connection to nature throughout the trip.

The resort will immerse visitors in the environment by offering activities like nighttime forest bathing, sound treatment, sunset rituals, and meeting local artist Jose Juan Esparza at his studio. This will provide a transforming experience for guests.

Then, two spa pods, a traditional Mexican temazcal, an outdoor gym, Alma Pool, and the private beachfront will all offer wellness-related experiences. All holistic treatments will take advantage of the advantages of locally sourced products. The cocoon-like spa pods were inspired by the seed of the nearby Ceiba tree. Cliffside workouts and beautiful hikes will both be offered.

During their stay, visitors can eat, mingle, and relax at the ocean-view Copal, which combines the ambiance of a living room and kitchen with food prepared over a wood fire and served from an outdoor kitchen.

The nearby Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, which has ten restaurants and bars, two golf courses, three pools, two beaches, a spa, and fitness centers, is also open to guests staying here.
