Nayarit is experiencing a pivotal phase in its tourism development, firmly establishing itself as a key destination for investment in Mexico. The state’s appeal is driven by significant improvements in infrastructure, connectivity, and international distinctions, reinforcing its position as a competitive and sustainably focused global tourist hub.
Governor Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero highlighted the influx of new investments as a reflection of the private sector’s confidence in the state’s stability, security, and growth trajectory. This positioning was underscored during the recent launch of the luxurious Siari Riviera Nayarit, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, which features 91 exclusive rooms, 34 residences, and four international-class restaurants, all built with deep respect for the natural environment and local tradition.
Nayarit is successfully promoting a model of sustained economic growth, evidenced by its ranking among the top states nationally for private tourism investment. Furthermore, Nayarit has significantly boosted its global presence by integrating with UN Tourism. The state was not only incorporated into the World Governing Board of Affiliate Members for the 2026–2029 period but also received the “Supportive Partner Destination” distinction at the 26th General Assembly in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
