Mexico’s popular beach destinations, Nuevo Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta, are poised to experience a significant surge in tourism this winter season. According to the country’s Ministry of Tourism (Sectur), these two destinations are projected to have some of the highest hotel occupancy rates in the nation.
Among the top-performing destinations, Nuevo Nayarit is expected to achieve an 88% occupancy rate, securing the second spot. Close behind, Puerto Vallarta is projected to reach an 82.3% occupancy rate. These high numbers reflect the growing popularity of these destinations among both domestic and international travelers.
With the winter season shaping up to be a record-breaker, both Nuevo Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta are gearing up to welcome a larger number of tourists and support the local economy.
