Puerto Vallarta successfully hosted ten professional event organizers, known as meeting planners, from Mexico City and Mérida in a recent familiarization trip. The tour, conducted from September 30 to October 3, was designed to powerfully showcase the city’s strengths as a premier destination for the MICE segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
The influential group was hosted at the Hilton Vallarta Riviera All Inclusive Resort, where they experienced the hotel’s world-class hospitality, gourmet dining, and versatile facilities. This exceptional lodging experience served as the ideal base for the planners to explore the extensive possibilities Puerto Vallarta offers for corporate and incentive travel.
A key stop on the itinerary was the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center. The organizers toured the modern venue, which boasts not only the capacity for large-scale events but also innovative spaces like a coworking room, a playroom, and a lactation center, confirming its readiness to host diverse and contemporary meetings.
Beyond traditional conference spaces, the trip highlighted several unique and appealing alternative venues. The group explored outdoor settings like Lázaro Cárdenas Park and the Art District, as well as emblematic restaurants such as Café de Artistes and Mar y Vino. These locations offer distinct and memorable backdrops for social gatherings and corporate events.
