Puerto Vallarta is one of 10 destinations shortlisted for Best International Table, known in Spanish as Mejor Mantel Internacional, in the fourth Hotel&Mantel Awards from Condé Nast Traveler Spain.
The magazine published the international list on Sept. 21, 2026. Puerto Vallarta is Mexico’s entry, alongside Bangkok, Bogotá, Champagne, Cape Town, Dubai, Marrakech, New York, Parma, and Vienna. The category is for places where sitting down to eat is part of how you get to know a destination.
Condé Nast Traveler Spain says the Pacific sets the pace here: ceviches, aguachiles, fish tacos, seafood from the bay, Jalisco recipes, tropical fruit, and raicilla. The gallery points visitors toward Ita, Café des Artistes in downtown Puerto Vallarta, and Mar y Vino in the Romantic Zone.
