Puerto Vallarta is gearing up for a major celebration to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Cuale River Island. This beloved landmark, situated in the heart of the city, has long served as a vibrant center for culture and art, growing alongside Puerto Vallarta’s own identity.
The three-day celebration is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, Sunday 26, and Monday 27. It invites residents and visitors alike to reconnect with the island’s rich history and vital community role. The festivities will offer a perfect opportunity to pay tribute to one of the city’s most cherished and famous locations.
The anniversary program promises cultural enrichment and entertainment, featuring a variety of artistic performances and activities full of history and emotion. All events will take place at the esplanade of the Instituto Vallartense de Cultura (IVC), running daily from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
