Puerto Vallarta is preparing to welcome the Vallarta Azteca Festival (FESTVA), recognized as Mexico’s largest folkloric celebration, for its 19th annual edition. This vibrant cultural event will bring together dance troupes from various Mexican states, as well as representatives from Central and South American and European nations.
The Vallarta Azteca Festival is scheduled to take place from May 1st to May 5th, promising several days filled with captivating performances. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy these folkloric showcases for free in some of Puerto Vallarta’s most iconic locations, including the Los Arcos del Malecón Amphitheater and the Teatro Vallarta Theater.
These performances will highlight the rich traditions and artistic expressions of different cultures, offering a unique and enriching experience for both residents and visitors. The festival aims to celebrate the diversity and beauty of folkloric dance from around the world.
