PV Airport Introduces New Digital Immigration Modules

Puerto Vallarta International Airport has implemented 10 new digital access modules to streamline the immigration process for incoming passengers. These innovative machines allow travelers to quickly and efficiently complete their immigration entry by scanning their passports and undergoing facial recognition.

The Autonomous Migration Filters are designed to provide a personal, orderly, simple, and secure immigration experience. To use these modules, passengers must meet certain requirements, including having an electronic passport valid for more than 180 days, being of legal age, entering Mexico as a tourist, and not traveling with minors.

Puerto Vallarta joins Cancún and Mexico City as the fourth city in Mexico to adopt this advanced technology. The machines are equipped to detect potential fraud or document falsifications, ensuring a reliable and efficient entry process.
