The revered relic of St. Jude Thaddeus, currently on a tour across Mexico, will make a stop in Puerto Vallarta on April 9th. This visit is part of the fourth stage of its journey through the country, which also includes stops in Bahía de Banderas and Mascota.
According to the tour schedule for the North Bajío region, the relic will first arrive in Bahía de Banderas on Tuesday, April 8th, at the San Juan Bautista parish in San Juan de Abajo. The following day, Wednesday, April 9th, it will be venerated at the Divina Providencia parish in Puerto Vallarta. On Thursday, April 10th, the relic will move to Mascota, visiting the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores and San José temple.
The devotion to St. Jude Thaddeus is deeply rooted in Mexico, second only to the veneration of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Numerous temples across the country are dedicated to his memory, reflecting the widespread faith in this saint.
