Puerto Vallarta is gearing up for a robust winter tourism season, anticipating a significant increase in Canadian visitors. This popular Mexican destination is already the third most visited by Canadians and is poised to see even greater numbers this winter.
Sunwing, a leading airline and tour operator, has announced a new direct flight from Victoria, British Columbia, to Puerto Vallarta starting on December 10th. This weekly service will bring approximately 700 additional passengers each month, further strengthening the connection between Canada and the Mexican Pacific coast.
With the introduction of this new route, Sunwing will now offer flights to Puerto Vallarta from ten Canadian cities next winter, including Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, Regina, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Victoria. Travelers can take advantage of Sunwing’s all-inclusive vacation packages on all routes, making it even easier to plan their trip.
