The Swedes Bar & Bistro, a beloved staple in Puerto Vallarta’s restaurant scene since 2009, has been recognized with the prestigious TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award. This award is reserved for the top 10% of restaurants on the platform, solidifying The Swedes’ position among the best in Puerto Vallarta.
The restaurant boasts a consistently high average rating of 4.5 or above on TripAdvisor. Celebrating the award on their Facebook page, The Swedes expressed gratitude to their staff, patrons, and the community for their ongoing support. They also acknowledged the honor of being alongside other outstanding restaurants and venues in Puerto Vallarta’s vibrant culinary scene.
Under new ownership since August 2022, The Swedes continues its tradition of excellence. Restaurant industry veteran Christopher Maluck, originally from Denver, Colorado, took the helm, bringing his extensive experience to the table. Originally founded by Morgan Granander and his partner, the restaurant occupies a charming two-story building located at the corner of Olas Atlas and Púlpito.
