Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara have emerged as the top destinations in Jalisco for the Easter holiday period in 2025, attracting over 3.3 million visitors and generating more than 9.24 billion pesos in economic revenue. These figures highlight the continued popularity and economic significance of these two major urban centers within the state.
Data from the State Tourism Information System (SITE) revealed that the vacation period spanning April 12th to April 27th saw a substantial 16 percent increase in tourist arrivals and a 17 percent rise in economic impact compared to the same timeframe in 2024. This growth underscores the strong appeal of Jalisco as a preferred holiday destination.
Puerto Vallarta welcomed 298,000 visitors during this period, marking a 2 percent increase from the previous year. The economic revenue generated by tourism in Puerto Vallarta exceeded 2.47 billion pesos, showing a 3 percent growth compared to 2024.
