The Vallartan Institute of Culture (IVC) has announced a new slate of workshops aimed at fostering artistic expression and cultural enrichment in the community. These new offerings are part of the city’s ongoing commitment to becoming a creative hub.
The IVC, under the direction of Lupita Basulto, has developed a comprehensive program of workshops that cater to a wide range of interests, from photography and painting to dance and poetry. These new classes will be offered at various cultural centers across the city, including La Lija, Cocoteros, El Pitillal, and Cuale.
Some of the highlights of the new program include photography workshops taught by Carolina Torres, painting classes led by Silvia Rodríguez, and dance classes for all ages. Additionally, the IVC is offering more specialized workshops such as piñata making, amigurumi knitting, and even voguing.
