Vallarta Ready for Busy Holiday Season

Puerto Vallarta is poised for a record-breaking holiday season as it anticipates a surge in tourism during the festive period. With an estimated 199,781 visitors expected to arrive between December 16, 2024, and January 6, 2025, the city is gearing up to welcome guests from around the world.

The hospitality industry is bracing for an occupancy rate of 85.2%, with some days, particularly around New Year’s Eve, reaching as high as 92%. This translates to approximately 466,303 occupied hotel rooms during the festive season.

With domestic tourists estimated to spend around $9,058 pesos and international visitors spending an average of $35,831 pesos, the total economic impact is projected to reach a staggering $3.88 billion pesos.
