This year, our beautiful port city has welcomed nearly 240,000 cruise passengers from 81 international cruises, which is a whole lot of people coming to soak up the sun and fun.
The cruise season in Puerto Vallarta thrives from January to April, but things calm down a bit in the summer before getting busy again in the fall.
Still, those cruise ships bring in a boatload (pun intended) of cash for the local businesses, so it’s a win-win. The cruise ship industry is estimated to have contributed approximately $28.6 million USD to the local economy based on passenger spending.
