Puerto Vallarta’s tourism industry is soaring in 2024! Passenger arrivals by air have increased by 2.6% compared to the same period last year, bringing in an extra 96,500 visitors.
International travel is leading the surge, with a remarkable 7.8% growth. This translates to nearly 177,000 more international tourists choosing Puerto Vallarta so far in 2024.
The good news extends beyond the airport. Cruise ships and buses are also seeing increased activity. Looking ahead, summer promises continued growth, with projections indicating at least a 3% rise in tourism and average hotel occupancy reaching 78%.
With a strong showing in the first half and exciting developments in air travel, Puerto Vallarta is poised for a record-breaking year.
