El Salado Beach (Playa El Salado) is located in Marina Vallarta within Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on the beautiful Bay of Banderas. It is bounded by luxury beachside resorts like as the Velas Vallarta, Meliá, Marriott, Mayan Palace, and Westin and also by condominiums like Bay View Grand, Portofino, Caracoles, Shangri-la and Tres Mares. Unless you stay at one of the resorts or condos, getting to the beach on foot can not be done without knowing where to go in. El Salado is sort of accessible by finding and following the street called Pasaje Bocanegra, located going out west from Calle Albatros between Calle Flamingos & Calle Gaviotas on the northern side of Marina Vallarta
