The Instituto de Artes Musicales de Puerto Vallarta (IAMPV) is hosting a special Sock Hop fundraiser on Friday, February 2nd, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM at Bar Awaysis, located at Calle Aquiles Serdán No. 625 in Col. Emiliano Zapata.
This nostalgic evening will feature live music performances by Bobby & The Boppers and Joan Houston, along with an ensemble of talented musicians. Guests can enjoy an unforgettable night of dancing while supporting a worthy cause. Food will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Proceeds from the Sock Hop will directly benefit IAMPV’s scholarship programs and support the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra. As a non-profit organization, IAMPV is dedicated to providing music education opportunities to children and young adults in the Banderas Bay area. The institute offers a comprehensive program that includes instrument instruction and scholarships to ensure that music education is accessible to all.
