Puerto Vallarta’s cruise season continues to be a major economic driver, with the month’s fourth double-ship arrival generating an economic boost exceeding 15.3 million pesos. This positive impact, confirmed by data from the National Port System Administration (Asipona Vallarta), highlights the city’s strength as a prime destination on the Mexican Pacific.
The bustling day saw the arrival of the Carnival Panorama and the Navigator of the Seas, two major vessels from leading international cruise lines. In total, nearly 11,000 people—including passengers and crew—disembarked to explore the city and enjoy its offerings, injecting vital revenue into the local economy.
The Carnival Panorama brought 4,405 passengers, contributing an estimated 8.1 million pesos in spending, while the Navigator of the Seas carried 3,871 passengers, generating over 7.1 million pesos. Furthermore, the 2,651 crew members from both ships also made purchases and used services in the city, providing additional support to local businesses. Asipona Vallarta noted that the substantial economic impact generated by these multiple arrivals significantly contributes to the tourism and commercial revitalization of the municipality.
