This year, a committee of 48 tourism and gastronomy experts, alongside the Food and Travel México editorial board, selected candidates across 32 categories, showcasing the best in the industry.
Puerto Vallarta has earned two major nods. In the category for Best Spa in Mexico, Maiavé Spa at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort is competing. Additionally, Canopy River Park is a top contender for Best Sustainable Tourism Proposal. Located in the Ejido El Jorullo, this eco-tourism park offers thrilling adventure experiences—from zip lines and rappelling to river treks and nature walks—all while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and the local community.
