Most banks in the city offer bilingual service, you may have language issues if you choose offices that are outside the normal tourist areas, but nothing a bit of universal sign language can’t resolve, remember, you are in Vallarta, one of the friendliest places on planet Earth.

Mexico newbies may wonder why addresses are provided with “between this street and this other street”, you’d imagine it would be enough with the number and the street. That is not the case, streets can sometimes skip numbers, sometimes they change erratically, and sometimes you are sure you should find a number at a certain location and SURPRISE! it’s not there. So do note down the “between streets” information too, as you never know when it’ll come in handy and save you a lot of time and frustration.
