Hair Braids On The Beach

Thanks! I had my hair 1/2 done the first trip to PV but not since... do you put sunscreen on her scalp or how does she not burn?

We usually wait until the day before we go home to get it done. She has had it done at the beginning of the trip once and I found it was just to much of a pain trying to get the sunscreen in between them so that is why we now wait. That and because they look alot nicer when you get home. When you get them done at the beginning of the trip and put sunscreen in day after day and then having to scrub it out each night they start to look pretty messy by the end of the week.

I can vouch for burning the top of my head. I have short spikey hair and the very first time I went to PVR with my hair short, I burnt the top of my head the first day so bad that I could hardly stand it. Now I use \"SPF lead\" as Mr. Crown calls it. Even the Sunbusters get spray for the top of my head and it works out great!! :D
