New Parking Lot

Well in the name of progress, here are some updated pictures of the new construction going on down in Old town. Here is the old park down there being destroyed to make a new parking lot just like the one up by Mc Donalds....

Ellen, i think there are sure a WIDE variety of opinions of the new developement areas going on down in Puerto Vallarta. Whether it is downtown, in the hotel zone, the marina area, and even out in Nuevo Vallarta. I know that even some people that live there are on both sides of the fence on this subject. Some people look at it as great strides towards modernization that is twenty years behind schedule. we will just have to watch what else comes along i guess.

I know i was not impressed with the 4 story above ground parking garage they put up south of hooters...

Ellen and welovepv, you two are being silly right now... see a pattern, heck i was with Redd for a whole week in April, and they were \"natural\" and not boughten ones either... See she, she even says she was with me... :evil: :twisted: :roll: :wink: :lol: 8) But then again, Redd was looking for a very famous landmark in PVR, and we lauged and laughed when the guys tried to understand what Redd was looking for... Fishing and whipping all look alike to those guys too... :wink: :lol: 8) :oops:

before the city let the cardenas park flounder, there were big beautiful ficus trees that were manicured to look like bird houses, i doubt that will ever return by the looks of things, i hope that the new layout will be inviting, with the music gazebo/bandstand it would be nice to hang in the park on the sweltering summer nights, like we used to.
