Airfare beware....

Not cheap welove..just economical
Why pay more for what you can get for less ...
The extra money given for airfare could be used for
more important fun things..like shopping and dining out etc. :)
Hope you find a good deal. You have lots of time yet to book..We usually book .....
no sooner than 4 weeks in advance.

checking for Feb 07
Lorrie has been checking for our feb 2007 trip... and we are all over the board with this... there are no direct flights from Iowa... we have to go thru PHX, DEN, DFW, HOU from des moines... or we would have to drive 5 hrs to Chicago, 3 hrs to KC, or 4 hrs to Mpls/St Paul.... and then we would have to add to the tickets hotel rooms, fuel for the jeep, etc... plus you never know what the weather is going to give you when driving around the midwest... i think last night she found some for about $1300 for the two of us thru PHX... or around $1100 but we have to fly backwards, DSM to Detroit then direct to PVR... so it is interesting to say the least....

good luck everybody... i know we are in the same boat as many of you as well....

MODIFIED: Let me clarify some information up above... when i said we have to go thru... that is an EITHER of those from DSM - PHX - PVR, or DSM - DFW - PVR or DSM-HOU-PVR or DSM-DEN-PVR.... sorry for the confusion....
Holy! Why dont you guys just move to Canada and fly direct! :o :D
We booked our RT tickets for JAN 07 earlier thru bestfares. We like Amwest and had a good price located but United was less than $300 each RT. So we are going thru Denver on United. I have read that kayak.com has some good prices and so does bestfares.com. If you are close to KC MO Frontier had some good rates direct to PV. Look at the package sites, like Funjet. They offer air only sometimes that are dirt cheap, but they limit you to 2 weeks only. I have stopped looking at them.so I may be out of date Family and friends got tickets on Frontier for PV direct for around $500. . out of KC. Good luck and maybe we will see in PV in OT!! Mshuck from MO
we have considered checking into the charters thru MLT, FunJet, Apple etc... since we already have our room at the GCP... but to utilize these companies, again we have to drive to KCMO, Chicago or Mpl/StP.... but trust me, if i know my Lojo... she will find the very best of the best in rates and boom we are booked and on our way.... mshuckleberrys, we are still working on that Oct trip as well... right now on the fence for 21st - 28th.... we will see what happens in September... and then off we go....

talk to you all soon...
