Beaches Near Malecon

We are planning to go at PV Malecon at the fourth week of this month. I read many good reviews regarding that place. So, we become interested and want to experience the place itself. I wonder if there were also beaches near Malecon?

Puerto Vallarta in the downtown area has three main beaches: Olas Altas and Los Muertos Beach that are basically the same beach and Camarones Beach, that is north of Hotel Rosita (more or less) that is best around the Premiere-Buenaventura hotels. Read more: http://bit.ly/PVBeaches
