anyone here anything on O Mahany he was suppose to be coming to wpg and hasnt arrived there was a big article in the paper today his parents are reporting him missing he was at the calgary airport.

Just wondering if anyone heard or read anything else.

Apparently he is with family in Calgary right now. Obviously he is going through some tough emotional times.

as for the jets that is sad it was even sadder when they tried to tear down the arena and she wouldnt come down I actually had some tears on that one.

i think this will be a great C.F.L. season. With Otawa being out the other 8 teams all managed to pick up a couple players. Who ever we cheer for, the C.F.L. rocks. ( Even the ARRRRRGos )

yes cfl rocks but I also enjoy nfl. My teams are miami dolpfins (because I like dolphins) green bay (because brett is so dreamy) and san francisco(because they are SAN FRANCISCO),.

Niners rock to be sure. The Sea Hawks all the way this year. We usually take the 2 1/2 drive down the I5 at least twice a year to watch the Hawks. What a great stadium they have now.

this is funny I was going through some of the older posts and I saw that this was a subject in 2004 and two of the ppl in the conversation were smitty and mm2 so this isnt fair you two have at least 2 yrs on me.

that would be fun never had a chance to do something like that yet. Just get to go to some of the games. I think I went to 2 last year but tyler went to alot more.

well I dont know that I can say that I hate the lions I just dont want them to win. Unfortunatley I wont be going to the game friday as the cadet camp starts up saturday so Im at work real early. Im sure tyler is going probally take our son.

My sons chant is BOMBERS BOMBERS BOMBERS and stomping his feet when they get a touchdown because thats what the adults do lol. He will be 6 on monday.

Hey Margartia Man 2 - I used to think that Winnipeg was in the north - then I moved to Gillam - NOW I live in the north - with a new appreciation for all things south!!! I think this is going to be a very exciting C.F.L. season. I believe all 8 teams could either finish 1st to 4th in their divisions. At least we are talking positively about the league.
Connors football coach this year is Buck Pierce, the Lions Q.B. behind Dickenson. Hopefully he will be able to be at quite a few practices. Connors games are on Sunday, and the majority of the Lions games are Friday night.

Now how cool is that for a twelve year old amazing. What position does he play :?:

Connor has always been a defensive lineman. But he has slimmed down now, so he might be a linebacker this year. He is very excited for sure. He is 12 years old. He is already in size 12 shoes. His coach up until last year was Tony Dennis. He played i think 10 years in the C.F.L. 2 other Lions players are also coaches in our community. Coach Bounos son plays in our community program as well. It is fun talking to the coach on Sundays after the Lions have played the previous Friday night.

Our youngest boy is 6 on monday and I think he could play baseball,football,hockey. He has a arm like I have never seen for that age it floors ppl when we play catch or throwing the football around.

Yes but we have buzz and boomer. :D

we were supposed to go to the game tonite, but Connor has not been feeling well all day, so we gave the tickets to my sister and her son.

Fred and his buddy went. I had a midnight to 7 am shift last night and have only been able to manage 3 half hour naps.
