chuparosa

Started October 23, 2006 · 5,694 views · 6 posts
a chuparosa flew into our house
just when my eldest came to pickup his son
he tried catching him with a towel
after half hour
he finally got hold of him
gave him to his mother to hold
she was fascinated by its tiniest and fast heart beat
took a picture
let him go free out the window
free as a bird
all was thrilled with a little excitement

hasta luego

quite beautiful...
amazing how fast their wings move...
i set up humming bird feeders and enjoy wathcing them feed
asked my boy who caught him what do you call them
he said chuprosa
the photo came from a chuparosa hotel by google search
see them all the time in la cruz as well in vallarta
they suck the juices out of the blue and white flowers blooming in our trees and copa de oro plant..
