rain and clouds

ok my one complaint is the weather. it sucked. big time. we made the best of it because we are used to clouds and rain. but we did find it disapointing. when you pay more money than you can afford to go somewhere hot an dtropical well its kind sucky. other wise everything was a ok. and while i do know you cannot gaurantee the wether it would have been nice to get 2 full days of sun.

mogens you are right it is very awful about the kyoto. if the other countries in the world can see the sense in limiting thier emissions and reducing them than why cant UAS see that also? i blame it on greed and what is called progression....

While I share your sentiment that everyone is entitled and allowed to voice his/her opinon...the bottom line here is business. Specifically the business of this board. The board is \"protected\" from posts that may swing business to other sites, that have no affiliation to this one. (read - commissions payable)

In essence, it is a censored board, where the board administrator has absolute power over ALL posts on it.

Having said that then, no we are not ALL allowed to exercise freedom of speech (or posts) and opinions.

What does this mean then in \"real life\"? When the board administrator makes a post that alienates potential consumers (and advertisers) of the products and services listed, it becomes a business decision. It is certainly within his right to do so. It is also within the \"right\" (and I use the term very loosely) for someone to point out that by him (Mogens) doing so, it is not a wise BUSINESS decision.

nope jenny bean not gonna jump down your throat lol nor was i jumping down thier throats i do stick by my opinion however but will apologise though for derailing the thread on a board meant for puerto vallarta. that being sed sometimes this board does stray from all that is pv and that is ok to me. i will refrain form commenting on this matter any more.

jenny i dont see how expressing an opinion about the global health of the world is biting the hand that feeds you. you should read the artical in the link i sent. the usa is biting the hand that feeds it daily, namely the environment. i am not bashing the states or anything but i do have a problem with a whole country who is headed by a person that refues to participate in an global action just because of the economy. my feelings on this are simple and direct. america is not exempt from this accord neither are the other countries that didnt sign. i say shame on all of them for not seeing into the future far enough to make an informed decision about the future of the world. What good is money if it only benefits the people in power right here right now. why would someone want to get so rich that they couldnt care about the next generatins is beyond me. the environment we live is slowly being denuded and abused all in the name of the all might dollar. canada included....

Not to get into a pissing contest but I will tell you for one you have no idea what my life is. Do not judge me. I lived up north in Alberta on a reserve comparable to a third world country. No running water, no indoor plumbing, no central heat just a wood stove. I lived there with my baby daughter and while I was pregnant with my son. So yes I do know hardships don’t make snap judgments on me. I have family members living on Hastings street addicted to drugs and alcohol selling their bodies for crack. I am have every right to say I abhor being called a Canadian because I am not a Canadian. I am a proud Ku us woman. I don’t like to be labelled a Canadian because that’s not who I am. You have no idea who I am and what I am about. I don’t get government grants I wish I did. I get student loans like everyone else to pay for my schooling. Free health care what a joke I get a stupid bill in the mail from the ministry of health asking me to pay for mine and my children’s health care. So thanks for the internal racism its nice to know the governments tactics of divide and conquer are alive and well and working perfectly. I was not whining I was making a light hearted joke about my vacation. I do not live in Vancouver that huge rotten whore of a city, I live in my place of birth the place my people come from. It sounds to me as if you have issues that have nothing to do with me and I am just a convenient scapegoat for your anger. Do me a favour and point your anger where it belongs and not at a brown person who does in fact know what a “real first nations” person feels like. I have been involved in fighting for Aboriginal rights and title since I was 16. I am involved with grassroots organizations that take no money form the government and we do everything by ourselves for ourselves. if you still dont feel i had any need to defend myself than you need ot give your head a shake i wont sit idly by while some calls me down and tells me i dont know anythign about my own people. so if you dont like my posts than you dont have to reply to them, what i dont need is you coming in here and telling me to take a breath as this person was very personal with me. i have every write to be personal back.

i actually was saying to 1stnations not to judge me. you dont even acknowledge that 1stnations was being rude. you just go and pull out the old standard about i dont live there therefore i shall not have an opinion of the usa. that doesnt make sense to me. shall i not have an opinion of the mainland as i dont live there. i dont understand. i have opinions of everywhere some good some bad and i am entitled to them what i dont understand is how some people can be so patriotic to the point that they feel that every time someone expresses thier opinion of thier country they are \"bashing america\" if asked i could point out somethings i like about the states also remember there are 2 sides to every coin. the post i posted was in RESPONSE(caps for emphasis only i am not yelling lol) to 1stnations judgement of me and because he/she sed i have no idea what it is like to be a \"real first nations\" i was pointing out to them that yes i do know and i gave examples. that post was directed at only one person --->1stnations.
