Remembrance Day on November 11

Would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge all those that have spent time in the Armed Forces of their country ensuring that we all have the opportunity to freely travel to places that we enjoy, such as PV, and for those who paid the ultimate price.

Thank you very much, Ronald. Like I tell me friends, Veterans Day means so much more to me than my birthday because I earned Veterans Day. And Tom, I was in Vietnam 1967-1968, and I know that your dad was a hero. Even without his medals, he was a hero. Always have warm memories of him. Take care and welcome home my brothers and sisters. Veterans Day
My father did not serve in WW11 as I his third son exempted him but three of his brothers did. When dad died & we went through his possessions we found a letter sent by his brother Ben on the eve of D day. Ben was in the first wave to hit Omaha beach. A true member of the finest generation.
U.S Navy, 6 years 1971-1977. I served as a hospital corpsman (medic). BTW in those six years, I never set foot on a boat. :?:
