Sad news in our house

I know it has been a long time since either Lorrie or myself have been on line - our lives have been really busy and constantly changing... and then this happens in our lives this Holiday Season... Many of you recieved this information from me personally via e-mail... and we have always been a family out here... so i thought those magical healing powers of prayer could kick in again....

Tom aka Mr. Crown...

Last night I was informed that my youngest daughter, Christine Michelle Ludwig, was found dead in her apartment in Iowa City. She just has some surgery last week for sinus problems and her tonsils removed. An autopsy is going to be performed this morning by the medical examiner in Johnson County. She didn’t call her mother on Sunday night like she usually does, so we don’t know how long she was dead in her apartment. She was found by one of her friends, that came in to check on her. Christie was a neo-natal nurse with the University of Iowa Hospitals. She is survived by her mother Carol in Algona, her sister Amanda in Dubuque, and me…. Keep them all in your thoughts and prayers during this holiday season….

I am one of many whom you have never met however I have read your postings and to be honest before I read this one was wondering where you were....I am the mother of a 23 and 19 year old and cannot imagine the pain you are in.

You know how i feel when i am out here on the bulletin board... you ae all my family and i love you all in a very special and unique way... we have laughed together (on here and in person), we have cried together (on here and in person), and we have built relationships (on here and in person) for our love of Vallarta and the people and resorts that make her our home away from home...

On Saturday the 2nd of January I lost my mentor and accounting counter part with our sister company. Roger lost his battle to cancer, he was just 65, and was retiring this year. His funeral and burial was on Tuesday the 5th... When you say your prayers today, toss one out for my little buddy....

Grief and loss of family and friends has no explanation or logic Tom . Look ahead and try and remember the good times you enjoyed with them . The sun will rise and the hurt does subside . Peace to you Tom and Lorrie .
