Sadd day for Redd

Well all you hockey fans... our beloved Redd will be in mourning today as her Red Wings were eliminated last night by the Ducks... better luck next year Redd...

Thanks Tom....I have been in mourning. The Wings looked bad last night until late in the 3rd period. We came on strong but it was too late.

Always looking out for you babe... both of our minor league teams got beat in the semis for their respective cups.... The Iowa Stars and Des Moines Buccaneers ... excellent hockey that is for sure... and both teams play within 15 - 30 minutes from the condo... so that is nice too...

slowly i am developing a taste for Hockey... We have some excellent minor league teams in the state, Iowa Cubs baseball, and the Des Moines Menace for soccer, and coming this summer or early fall, we have a basketball team coming to Des Moines...

but i am still waiting for the new football and basketball seasons for The Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa State Cyclones, Northern Iowa Panthers, and Drake Bulldogs....
