traveling from Puerto Vallarta to Cabo San Lucas

Please ,we are spending a timeshare week in P.V., then doing the next week in Cabo San Lucas. (In August) Is there a ferry system to get from P.V. to C.S.L. rather than fly to Mexico City and then onto C.B.L.? That is very expensive, and I am hoping there is a ferry system there...can you please advise, and how to contact such people if they exist???

No ferry service from PV to Cabo. There is a ferry from La Paz across but you have to get from PV to La Paz. If I remember correctly it is about a 8 hour ferry ride. August being the rainy/tropical storm season I would not go that route if it was me.

The last time I was in La Paz, there was a ferry between La Paz and Mazatlan. So...you would have to get from PV to Mazatlan and then get the ferry to La Paz and then get to Cabo. Good luck. It sounds like an adventure.
