WARNINGS

This applies to both women
and men: Beware of paper on the
back window of your vehicle - new
way to do car jackings. Heads up,
everyone!
You walk across the parking lot,
unlock your car and get inside.
You start the engine and shift into
Reverse.
When you look into the rearview
mirror to back out of your parking
space, you notice a piece of paper
stuck to the middle of the rear
window. So you shift into Park,
unlock your doors, and jump out
of your car to remove the paper (or
whatever it is) that is obstructing
your view. When you reach the
back of your car, that is when the
carjackers appear out of nowhere,
jump into your car and take off. They
practically mow you down as they
speed off in your car.
And guess what, ladies? Your
purse is still in the car. So now the
carjacker has your car, your home
address, your money, your keys
and perhaps your cell phone too.
Your home and your whole identity
are now compromised! Beware of
this new scheme that is now being
used.
If you see a piece of paper stuck
to your back window, just drive
away. Remove the paper later.
And be thankful that you read this
e-mail. A purse contains all kinds
of personal information and IDs, as
may your glove compartment, and
you certainly do NOT want this to
fall into the wrong hands.
Such losses can also incur other
dangers. It is with the information
gleaned from them that potential
“kidnappers” can call your house
and demand money in exchange for
the “safe return of your loved ones”.
Do not fall for their game, but do
inform the police immediately if you
should receive such an extortion-
style call from anyone claiming to
belong to a guerilla group.

Hola Kat, beautiful up here. How was Alaska? I, too, find many of chicos posts to be helpful and informative. However, he also posts alot of really crude and tasteless trash. That is why I usually just pass on bye.
Hey Earl,
Alaska was beautiful but just a little hard to adjust when the sun is still shining at 11 p.m. and you have to be up at 4:30 a.m. to get ready for work. I had really great weather. The traffic report of a rollover accident caused by two bears running onto the road was a little different than we hear in So. Cal. :D
Oooooops   I am slipping
where our my manners :? ..
