davilin stay safe and warm...

We have a relative in Orange County who last night asked us to think about her..
Chatted with her a few hours ago and she said so far the storms in her area had not been as bad as expected..

We are enjoying wonderful dry weather..On the plusC side..
Saskatoon yesterday was plus 3C ..Many times at this time of year they are at minus 40..

Are the weather patterns really changing :?

Davilin,

Thanks for send it our way! Sat. morning the street infront of my house was orange, not blacktop but orange...solid pine needles from the huge pine trees on our street. It stopped raining for a while so I went out and cleaned it all up..completely forgetting the gardner comes rain or shine and it was his Sat. to come. Oh well, I made his job a little easier.

The surf at Huntington Beach is awsome and you know there are crazy surfers out there in it. This storm today is colder but not as windy. So far except for a few minor incidents the major burn areas are holding but I hear Malibu is getting blasted right now so they are not out of the woods yet.
Up here at Pacific 49 degrees north, we get storms like that regularly. Trees down, power out. The last one was Friday night. Does not even make the national news.

Saturday the 12th for 2 months....
Ronald....

The song actually goes \"It never rains in California\" but No. Cali gets alot of rain compared to So. Cal. The storms all seem to move down the state and stop around Santa Barbara or a little north of there.

They did get over 11 ft. of snow in the Sierras and had hurricane force winds on Friday....it was a good storm.
