Any MUST SEEs in PV?

Hi all!
New to the group, loving the board so far. My husband and I are going go be in PV on April 5-10. This is our anniversary trip. We usually take vacation that time of year and alittle over a year ago we took a cruise that stopped in PV and loved it. We did see the Malecon and eat at a locals rest. This year we are staying at the Villa Premiere. Doing the Non A.I thing since we dont plan on eatting all our meals there. So, the question is... what is a must see there? We are in our mid-40s if that matters... any ideas would be great!
Also was thinking of spa services, in the hotel or someplace else. Suggestions?

ok, more to add. We are doing a layover in DFW for about an hour and a half. ok, Im a smoker... Im going to need a smoke during this time. Anyone know if DFW is a non smoking airport? I know when I flew out of Denver last year they had a restuarant that had smoking allowed in it, just wondering if DFW did too?

a water taxi ride to yelapa for the day is always a winner, gorge yourself on the taco wagons in old town, (south of the rio cuale).

As far as smoking at the airport at DFW I believe that you have to go outside of the airport and would then have to go back into the security lineup to clear security again. By the way, are you aware there is no smoking in the rooms at the Villa Premiere? You may smoke on your deck but not in the room. You can also smoke around the pool and there is a smoking section in La Ceiba (the oceanside restaurant) and on the outside decks of the other 2 restaurants.

We love the taco wagons! We have a bunch in our town. We live in a pretty agricultural (sp) area so we have a lot of mexican friends.

If you go to Yelapa make sure you get the pie on the beach. A trip to Yelapa is not complete without having pie from the pie ladies on the beach.

Wow, looking at the places to go... so much to do, so little time. Guess that means we have to make it a regular thing to go to PV on our anniversary!
