I have had a quick look through the forum and there seems to be a sub forum for everything that I would like to know, so I hope there are no problems lumping them all together and posting them on here.

First of all my name is Col and I will be visiting PV in November with my business partner.

Primarily we are visiting for the food festival as food is our business, but we are both treating it as a well deserved holiday. From the site we have found quite a few activities that we will be doing during our 2 week stay but we would also like recommendations from people that have 1st hand experience of PV.

Like I said, we’re over for the food so would like to know of any not so well known authentic bars/ cafes and restaurants that we would not ordinarily find in the main areas.

Would we have any trouble communicating as unfortunately we only speak English, we struggled a little in Mexico City last year at a convention so ideally we need to avoid that situation again.

We are both very sociable and would like to meet people both locals and other visitors to PV. I know it says somewhere on this forum that this is not a dating forum, so I’ll post this just to avoid any confusion, we are both straight, so no pm’s offering that sort of service thank you very much others are welcome tho lol.

I will also want to take advantage of the exchange rate and fill my case for my trip home with clothes, Lacoste, ST, Fila etc, is there anywhere to buy these?
