our suggestion is checking in with Jennybean on this bulletin board... she knows a lot about the various hotels downtown that are very cost effective for people on tight budgets... she may be able to give you some information or guidance in this matter...

I forgot the Lily! You are correct. One of the wondeful things about PV is all budgets can have a great time there. I have stayed at a building that will rent you a apartment w/AC, pool, living room, kitchen & bedroom for 550 a month on a long term rental just a block from Gutierrez Ricos.
