Bus To Mazatlan

Does anyone have info on bus service from PV to Mazatlan? My step son is traveling with us to PV but at the end of our stay he wants to hook up with some friends that are in Cabo san Lucas. He is planning to take a ferry from Mazatlan to Cabo. My main concern is getting him (age 24) from PV to Mazatlan. Thanks for your input.

There are frequent busses from Puerto Vallarta to Mazatlan. As susana said, they start from the central bus terminal (Central Camiones) which is about two miles notrh of the airport (behind the Modelo beer facility). Depending on your bus company, you may have to make a stop or connection in Tepic (capital city or Nayarit) before continuing on to Mazatlan.
